Dr. Deep Goel is a highly respected surgical gastroenterologist with over three decades of experience in complex abdominal, bariatric, and cancer surgeries. A gold medalist from Kasturba Gandhi Medical College, Mangalore, he further advanced his training with prestigious fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and the American College of Surgeons (USA). His international exposure includes surgical training at Mount Sinai Medical School, New York, USA, and Bagatelle Hospital, Bordeaux, France, giving him a deep foundation in minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
Dr. Goel began his surgical career with ranked positions at top hospitals, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Artemis Health Institute, where he led departments of minimal access and oncologic surgery. He is an active member of numerous national and international surgical societies, including the Asian Metabolic Society, Endo Laparoscopic Society of Asia, and the Eurasian Colorectal Technologies Association.
Currently serving as the Principal Director and Head of Surgical Gastroenterology, Advanced Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, Dr. Goel is widely recognized for his expertise in gastrointestinal cancer surgery, bariatric (weight-loss) surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, and robotic abdominal surgery. His clinical work focuses on personalized, evidence-based treatments and achieving excellent surgical outcomes while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
